I grew up in Lincoln, NE to loving parents who have always understood the value of hard work. Looking for a way to instill the value of saving money, relationships, and responsibility they recommended I start a paper route, laying the foundation for these core principals at an early age.
After attending the University of Nebraska I was an English teacher for eight years while obtaining a masters degree at Doane College, where I subsequently served as an adjunct professor before pursuing a career at Mutual of Omaha as a financial advisor in 2015. In 2018 I made the difficult decision to become an independent advisor. The open architecture of our platform is truly what sets us apart and allows us to put our clients first.
I love working with my clients, both families and small businesses, and building rapport. However, my true pride and joy is my family. My wife Amy and I have been married for 13 years and we love spending time with our two sons, Conor and Everet. We spend a lot of our time outdoors swimming, golfing, or going for walks.
