I grew up in Overton, NE; a small town just west of Kearney where farming and ranching is very prominent.  My dad was a local veterinarian that owned and operated Overton Veterinary Services for over 40 years.  At an early age, I learned the value of client relationships and an honest day’s work through his work ethic.  Although I enjoyed working with him growing up, I knew there was a better way to leverage the skills I learned from him in a career that wouldn’t require a daily chiropractic adjustment.

My mom put my dad through veterinary school as a hair dresser and was able to be a homemaker afterwards.  She continues to be the backbone of the family and is always there to lend a helping hand whenever need be.

To this day, I still enjoy working with clients in the farming and ranching field to address retirement planning issues and business succession planning to ensure the family business remains intact.

I have two older siblings, which made it seem like I was an only child at times growing up.  Judd lives in Albany, Oregon where he practices general dentistry. My sister, Amy, lives in New York City with her husband, Matt, and two boys, Max and Connor.  She is a psychologist for Columbia University and has a private practice in lower Manhattan.

When not working, I enjoy snow skiing, golfing, and spending time with close family and friends. I became an avid snow skier at an early age and try to make it out to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado as much as time allows.  I started playing golf in high school and it has been a hobby of mine ever since.
