Growing up in small town central Nebraska, I learned the values of hard work, personal relationships and integrity. I had the unique opportunity to watch both of my grandfathers, both of whom owned successful small businesses. While studying Business Administration at UNK, I worked alongside my father in our family-owned retail meat business, where I built strong relationships that remain to this day in the Kearney area.
I began my career in the financial services industry in 2007 serving as an advisor, mentor and team builder in the captive insurance agency world. In 2018, I made the leap to the independent advisor landscape. This difficult decision has enhanced my service to the clients and team I serve and expanded offerings to better meet the needs of the businesses and families I help protect.
My wife Kami and I have been married since 2006 and have two outdoor loving, competitive young daughters that occupy our time. You will find us at basketball, volleyball, softball, and gymnastics events. In the spare time I do have, you’ll find me on the golf course.
