I grew up in the small community of Overton, NE where my parents still reside. They continue to be a great team and have shown me the benefits of caring for others through generosity and servanthood. I strive to exhibit these same qualities, along with wisdom and the desire to help others when working with families and businesses on securing their financial future.
After graduating from college and earning a master’s degree from Doane University, I worked as a middle school science teacher in Lincoln. As much as I enjoyed spending time with my students, I eventually made the decision to leave education and enter the financial world as an insurance representative with MidPlains Advisors. The decision to come to MidPlains was simple because it provided me with the widest variety of resources to serve clients, no matter what stage of life they were in.
During my free time, I try to spend every moment I can with my family. It’s true what they say, kids really do grow up fast and I try to maximize my time with mine, Graham, Davis and Reese. My wife Tara and I have been married for 11 years and we spend a lot of time with our kids going on walks, riding bikes and fishing.
